Community Building at Punjab

Hello Friends,

Here I am to introduce about Community Building at Punjab in presence of moz reps Sujith and Komal Gandhi.

The event Community Building at Punjab, on  08-12-2013  was planned at Near to Shri Guru Granth Sahib World University  . I  Reached the   Venue at 5.00 p.m.(evening) on 7th dec after my Exam on Saturday to meet Sujith and komal .I was very exicted to meet both of them.My friend has dropped me at the venue which is 20 km from my exam Centre. then I Met with Sujith and Sajeev soni ,and discussed about the planning of community event .after discussing with sujith about the planning of Tomorrow . We(me and Sajeev Soni) returned to our friend house  for stay.

Then on Sunday we (Rahul ,Sajeev Soni and me)  have assembled the students who are crazy to work as volunteer in different fields.some oof them are from Nepal like Bipin karki,Ashim Kc etc .they were very exicted to meet Moz rep and we want to lean about differents fields and areas where we can work for the world best seure browser.

In First session:

Starting with introduction of each mozillian the event begins

Then event start with the introduction of Mozilla by Sujith. he told us the various communities  of Mozilla .like he told us Mozilla Asia,mozilla Europe and all in Details. He has given all the detail about the Hierarchy of Mozilla to Mozilla india and all…………..

We were very exicted for that time to know about the world largest public resource.student has cleared there queries .   

The question of my query which I have faced in last event got from sujith with very good answer.

That was :how the Mozilla is  getting   amount instead of Google .and how iit is different from other open source.

Me and students satisfy with that great answer from sujith.

  In Second session:

In Second session Moz reps has told us the various fields starting from Web Maker. We have some knowledge about that  because me and sajjev have already organized the web maker event at DBU,Punjab in last month . But Sujiith has given the Demo of each and every tool starting with great X-Ray Goggle.

 After the web maker session , then  Kamal Gandhi has told us about the Army of Awesome by giving example of Sajeev soni.

She told us SUMO project.                                                          

Then we have great lunch.

Third Session.

(i)Market Place

In last session Moz reps have told us about   the Market place and Mozilla handset. and how to contribute in developing mobile applications for market place.

This is the most beneficial  for that Mozilla contributors who wants to work in developing sides. specially those which me and sajeev has selected from the last month .Amritpal is one of them.

(ii)WEBFWD:

 I have many queries with that. because I have flooded with queries of Webshell.and they have cleared all my doubt by giving the information about WebFwd. Sujith told us that how can we utilized this into new companies such as to store the database free (instead of paying large amout).  That is the one of the best part of webFwd which I get from sujith.

Then we have celebrated the birthday oof Mozilla by cutting the cake from our Moz Reps.and having fun over there.all of us very exicted.

We have planned to have established moziilla club in our college.

Then we   planned  to have big hive hop in month of feb.
